NYDIS 2018 Partner of The Year: Delivering Good

During this year’s Annual Partnership Awards and Gala Ceremony, NYDIS honored Delivering Good as Partner of the Year for their ongoing support of NYDIS’ Evacuee Marketplace. Opened in November 2017 in partnership with Delivering Good; the Mayor’s Fund to Advance NYC; former NYC Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito; The Salvation Army, Greater New York Division; Catholic Charities; Macy’s; Burlington Coat Factory; and NY Cares to support hurricane evacuees in NYC, NYDIS’ evacuee services staff has distributed over 40,000 articles of clothing and home goods to 1,100 families through the Marketplace. Delivering Good, the largest single donor to evacuee recovery in New York City, has awarded NYDIS over $115,000 in #BeStrong gift cards and delivered over $1.3M in new clothing and home goods to our Marketplace.
Other top honors went to The Salvation Army Greater New York Division as Member of the Year and the American Red Cross in Greater New York as Donor of the Year.
